Every piece undergoes a strict heat-treatment process to ensure safety and cleanliness.  The heat process naturally sterilizes the wood without odors, chemicals, or artificial coatings. 

Our products are treated at:                                           

• 350°F for 36 hours 
• In an enclosed steel container 
• No chemicals or pesticides are ever used
   

This eliminates parasites, mold, mildew, insects, and organic contaminants, making our products safe for decor and habitats.

 Our chemical-free heat-treatment process makes our wood safe for:
✔ Reptiles
✔ Birds
✔ Small animals
✔ Aquarium decor (dry use)

 All of our products are legally and sustainably harvested. We maintain every permit required by the State of California and the U.S. Department of Agriculture to lawfully cut, collect, harvest, procure, and sell our natural wood products.

Our materials are sourced responsibly from approved natural areas, farms, vineyards, coastlines, and managed lands. Each piece is collected with care and in full respect of the environment.

In accordance with state regulations, harvesting manzanita trees or branches over 10 feet in length is prohibited.

For projects needing larger pieces, we design custom grafted manzanita structures made from smaller, legally harvested branches.
